Since I have been using this app my reading has improved 100% at the New York Jazz Workshop we have been reccommending this app to all the students.

I love the fact that you can input your rhythm by patting on your thigh with your microphone! This is great no matter what your difficulty is!

Great app, very helpful and precise and makes learning fun even for an adult. I just wish it has the option to tap a treble and a bass clef at the same time, since that what my piano teacher makes me do and what many of my piano teaching books have me do (and its a much closer approximation of what you actually have to do at the piano!) Other than that, great work.

Ive used this app for a few months now to tighten my reading and timing, as well as to introduce my students to reading rhythms. One of the few music apps thats both fun AND educational! I highly recommend it.

Not only am I finally learning how to read rhythms, but I plan on using the lessons as a basis for guitar rhythm studies. Very cool. The developers other apps are great too!

Im a musician and this app is great even if you are a beginner or advanced. Its fun to mess with when Im looking to improve my skills when Im not near my instruments. Far more productive than watching tv or playing video games. Get you skills up!

Nice app, but too bad it cannot played over airplay I need it to teaching in my classroom

Its worked great for me!

I was looking for an app to help me improve my musical rhythm on the bass guitar. Since I finger and slap my bass guitar, I can use my finger tips and the side of my thumb to tap the screen and track with the rhythm shown on the screen. The colored dots indicate my accuracy. Exactly what I wanted to know. The practice and test modes are an extra bonus. Plus there are way more patterns and variations than I need right now. Clearly I have a lot to learn and this little app can help me learn it. Im very excited. :)

This is a really good app, the controls settings are a bit hard but the app helped me in my sight reading. I would recommend this for anybody who wants to Lear how to read sheet music.

The notation in this app isnt written according to convention. This makes the exercises more difficult, but not in a good way. Inadvertently its also teaching incorrect notation practice. If not for this glaring flaw, this would be an excellent app. I heartily recommend The Norton Manual of Music Notation to the app developer.

I teach middle school band and general music - I bought this app specifically for a group of percussionists who had trouble with rhythms. It quickly caught on and I use it in every single one of my groups. The app has literally every skill level you will ever need through college level. I make it a “competition” in my classes to see who gets to the highest level (have to get 100% to move on). Great for random articulation warmups in band when using Smartboard projector. Fantastically engaging for all ages. Best music app I’ve bought so far - honestly.

Great app! Ive tried lots of guitar apps. Ive used apps for sight reading, ear training, etc. this is the only app Ive ever seen that aids in learning rhythm. And it works!

Doesnt do a ton... Just gives you exercises and provides immediate feedback as to how you did. However, if youre dedicated, and you work with this, it can really improve your reading ability. It would be nice If the exercises were broken up in to categories, or there were some way to choose how you were approaching various trouble areas... Maybe in an update? For $2.99 this is a very good app.

This app is just great. Perfect from anybody from beginner to advanced levels. My rhythm reading has improved so much without me even noticing it and its all because of this app. The icing on the cake are the updates. With every update theres always a very useful feature. Im looking forward to download more apps from this company.

This is ridiculously inaccurate and maddening to play. If you are looking for any remote rhythmic accuracy, look elsewhere. I have a doctorate in percussion and it makes my skin crawl to try to get the green accuracy dots to appear. The only way to do that is by being totally inaccurate with the rhythm.

I love how it looks. I figured it out right away how to get started practicing my rhythm for piano playing. There are advanced settings if you want them but I liked that I could jump right in and start practicing. And cant emphasize how much I like the clean and beautiful interface.

Really nicely designed app with a huge variety of exercises covering practically every possible rhythm imaginable. I like that you can easily choose exercises covering the type of rhythms you want to work on (i.e. 16th notes with ties in 3/4 time).
